AMOLEN's Wood PLA contains 15% real wood fiber blended into the filament base, and the difference shows in the finished print: visible grain texture, a warm matte surface, and an appearance and feel closer to actual wood than to standard plastic. Prints can be sanded, stained, or painted after the build, opening up finishing options that don't exist with other filament types. Ten wood species are available, each with a distinct surface color and grain character — from the deep warmth of Walnut Wood to the bold striping of Tigerwood. It supports high-speed printing and works on any standard FDM printer.
Available colorways:
Walnut Wood — deep warm brown with clear grain patterning that closely resembles finished hardwood.
Rose Wood — medium reddish-brown with warm reddish undertones; references the distinctive color and warmth of actual rosewood grain.
Red Cedar — warm orange-red tone; captures the aromatic cedar's surface color and visual depth.
Tigerwood — bold warm brown with high-contrast grain striping; the most visually dramatic option in the range. Well-suited for builds where grain character is a feature.
Bamboo Wood — light tan with minimal grain; the palest colorway, closest to raw or blond bamboo coloring. Good for lighter-toned decorative work.
Wood-white Oak — pale golden-wood tone; natural light finish typical of white oak. Pairs well with staining or painting for post-processing work.
Wood-black Walnut — deep dark brown, darker than Walnut Wood; references the near-black tones of aged black walnut. The darkest wood tone in the range.
Ebony Wood — very dark, near-black with visible grain structure; the high contrast between the dark base and grain lines is the defining visual of this colorway.
Yellow Pearwood — light warm yellow-wood tone.
Cherry Wood — warm medium-reddish wood tone.
