AMOLEN's glow-in-the-dark PLA doesn't just glow — it recharges. Expose the finished print to UV light or ambient indoor light, and the phosphorescent particles embedded in the filament absorb the energy and emit a visible glow that lasts. The effect is repeatable: recharge it, and it glows again. Built for cosplay armor, night-visibility props, Halloween decor, themed display pieces, and any print that needs a second life after the lights go down, this filament runs at high speed on any standard FDM printer without sacrificing surface consistency.
Available colorways:
Firefly Blue — rich medium-blue in daylight, cool blue-white glow emission.
Rainbow Flux — multicolor gradient in daylight; glow shifts across the color blend, producing a spectral emission pattern.
Rainbow 10m-Neon Nightfall — neon-intensified rainbow variant; elevated glow brightness and bolder daylight tones than the standard Rainbow 10m.
Rainbow 10m — a standard mixed-color rainbow on a shorter 10-meter spool run; broad daylight color and solid glow across the gradient.
White — neutral off-white in daylight with strong, clean blue-white glow output; the most versatile option for glow-in-the-dark multi-piece displays.
Aurora Glow — a second rainbow colorway with aurora-inspired multi-hue color distribution; lower saturation than Rainbow Flux with a broader glow spread.
Orange — warm orange in daylight; amber-toned glow emission, good contrast against dark backgrounds.
Blue Purple — dual-tone blue-to-violet in daylight; cool-spectrum glow with a gradual hue shift across the strand.
Green — classic phosphorescent green, the most recognized glow-in-the-dark tone.
Red — deep red in daylight; warm glow at lower intensity.
Technical specifications:
Diameter: 1.75mm ±0.02mm
Print temperature: 210–230°C
Bed temperature: 30–65°C
Print speed: <120mm/s recommended
Drying: 55±5°C for 6–8 hours if filament has been exposed to moisture
Material: Biodegradable PLA base with phosphorescent particles (rechargeable — capable of repeated charge/glow cycles, not single-use)
Glow mechanism: Charges under UV or ambient light.
High-speed printing: Supported
Surface note: Phosphorescent particles produce a slightly textured surface finish compared to standard PLA — this is normal and expected for glow-in-the-dark materials
Nozzle: Standard 0.4mm brass compatible. Note: phosphorescent particles are mildly abrasive — monitor nozzle wear during high-volume printing.
Packaging: Reusable vacuum-sealable bag; moisture protection between sessions
Spool weight: 1KG (2.2LB)
🌵 Why Buy from VectorDesignsArizona?
We run a large and growing 3D print farm out of Tucson, Arizona and the filaments we carry are the ones loaded in our own machines. As an authorized reseller, we only sell what we've personally used and relied on. Every material in our store has been tested in real production runs, not just sampled. When we recommend a filament, it's not a sales pitch, it's what's actually running through our printers right now.
